The Shorebirds announced their 2017 schedule via press release on Tuesday and next year's slate has some great dates to be at home.

As is the norm, the Shorebirds will play 70 games on the road and 70 games at home, and they will begin the 2017 season on the road on Thursday, April 6 at Greenville.

Their 2017 home opener will be on Thursday, April 13 as they host Hagerstown.

June will be a great month for Shorebirds' fans as they will be at home on three different weekends in the month.

The 2017 South Atlantic League All-Star Game will also take place in June (not in Delmarva though), with the All-Star Break taking place June 19-21.

Delmarva will also get to play at home on the 4th of July (vs Lakewood) as well as on Labor Day (vs West Virginia) to close out the 2017 regular season.

Of course, the most anticipated information regarding the 2017 season will be both who is on the roster as well as what promotions will take place during the course of the year. Baby Birdland will keep you apprised on both pieces of information as they become available.
