The Tides made the announcement Wednesday via press released.

This will be the seventh time over the past eight seasons that the Tides and Spartans have met each other for an exhibition contest.

For the game itself, it will be a seven-inning exhibition game and first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. at Harbor Park, the home of the Tides. The team also announced that the gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for the game.

Per the press release, "All advance tickets must be purchased through NSU. Tickets will be available at the NSU Ticket Center on campus or the athletics business office in Joseph Echols Hall beginning Monday, Feb. 27. Tickets will also be on sale at the home NSU baseball games beginning Wednesday. All seats are general admission, with prices of $7 for adults and $5 for groups of 20 or more. All ticket proceeds from the contest benefit the NSU baseball program."

You will also have the option to purchase tickets on game day at the Harbor Park ticket office.

Over their first six games between each other, the exhibition contest has drawn a total of 44,289 fans to Harbor Park, which comes out to an average of 7,381 per game.

Don't forget that the Tides will also host an exhibition game against the Orioles at Harbor Park on Friday, March 31.

The exhibition game with NSU is something that is pretty good for fans, but the city of Norfolk in particular. One of the things that I like the most about it is that all ticket proceeds go to the NSU baseball program. It's great to see a professional sports team doing something in their community that helps the local program.
