The Keys made the announcement via press release on Monday this week.

As I previously mentioned, the event will be free of charge and will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 11-2 pm at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium.

"KeysFest is an awesome way to show our fans what they have to look forward to for the upcoming season," said Keys Promotions and Creative Services Manager, DeForest Garcia in the press release. "After all the planning our staff has done for 2017, we are excited to get the season started."
So not only is the event itself free, but fans who attend KeysFest will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and Pepsi. In addition, a variety of food offering will also be available, that includes tastings of Roasthouse Pub hamburgers and her chicken sandwiches. Why Roasthouse Pub you ask? Because a Roasthouse Pub stand will be debuting at Nymeo Field this year and will be housed down the right field line.

Other than food, there will obviously be plenty of other things for all members of the family.

For the kiddos, the Giant Eagle Fun Zone will be open, which includes several different inflatables. There will also be face painting, a prize wheel and a baseball card station where kids can get their pictures taken just like the pros, per the press release.

There will also be stadium tours conducted throughout the day as well.

Both single-game and season ticket plans will also be available for purchase at the event, and the Keys' mascot, Keyote will also be at the event as well.

Another cool thing the Keys are doing is that the first 250 fans through the gates receive a foam finger (presented by Esurance), thanks in part to the Keys earning the Esurance Home Field Advantage award for the Carolina League after they led the league in attendance for the fifth straight year.

It's shaping up to be a great event at KeysFest this year, so I highly encourage you take advantage of the free of charge opportunity to check out Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium.
