The Eastern League made the announcement via press release Monday.

Mullins, 22, has been one of the most talked about Baltimore Orioles' prospects over the past few weeks and for good reason. He continuously turned heads when he saw time in Grapefruit League games during spring training, and has begun the 2017 season on absolute fire at the plate.

The EL named Mullins its' Player of the Week for the period of April 6-16.

Over the stretch, Mullins hit .455 with five doubles, one triple, three home runs, eight RBI, three stolen bases and scored 15 runs during the 10 games. He also posted an .818 slugging percentage.

Mullins has recorded a hit in each of the Baysox ten games thus far, and has had two or more hits in six of those ten games.

Through the league's first ten games, Mullins leads the entire league in runs (15), hits (20), extra-base hits (9), and total bases (36). In addition, he also ranks second in slugging percentage (.818), OPS (1.308), and batting average (.455), as well as ranking third in doubles (5) and home runs (3).

RHP Chance Adams (Trenton - NYY) was named the Pitcher of the Week in the EL.

Congratulations to Mullins, who continues to quickly become a household name to Orioles' fans everywhere!
